Cuir Améthyste is Mr. Armani's tribute to Russian leather accord, one of the most famous icons of perfumery. In the Russian steppes, the Cossack warriors cared for their leather boots by rubbing them with a mixture of birch bark. Over time, the leather was permeated with resin-like notes of an animal fragrance.
The fragrance uses pure essence of silver birch to reveal animal notes contrasted by the solar energy of Calabrian bergamot. Cuir Améthyste is a sensual and captivating second-skin fragrance.
